 Kirk Gibson

Kirk recently came to Winston Water Cooler with the goal of opening up a new supply house in Texarkana, USA.  Having been in the supply business in Texarkana over the last 15 years,  Kirk decided that it was time to venture out on his own and find a  company that was not only willing to hire good people, but one that was willing to develop partnerships between employees and the owners of the company!  That simple idea lead Kirk to Winston Water Cooler.  In the Spring of 2014, a partnership was created on the basic belief that, “Great Customer  Service and Fair Pricing” will not only retain loyal customers, but will also allow Winston to gain new customers on a daily basis.

After graduating with a degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University in the fall of 1993, Kirk went to work in the wholesale plumbing industry in Houston, Texas.  He spent two years learning everything from warehouse management to plumbing, appliance, and builder sales.

In the fall of 1998, Kirk accepted another position within the industry to move to Texarkana and take over a plumbing supply business that was not only failing, it was on the brink of being closed by the management of the company.  Although he was unaware of the obstacles that he was faced with, Kirk and his staff built a formidable supply business that was profitable every year since he moved to Texarkana. Kirk and his staff grew a sleepy little plumbing business into a leading distribution company within the 4-States Region.

Kirk and his wife, Kim, have three children, Ryan, Mason, and Claire. The kids enjoy hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and sports.   Other than the busy schedule of school and kids’ activities, the Gibson’s enjoy traveling, Texas Aggie Football Tailgating, Green Egging, and growing relationships with their customers who have not only become friends  but also a part of the extended family.
