Job Summary

Delivery Driver personnel are responsible for pulling material, loading trucks, delivering product to customers, and picking up product from vendors.  They always work safely and are friendly to all internal and external customers.  Focus is on efficient and safe operations, while cultivating customer relationships and exceeding customer expectations of prompt delivery.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Drive a Temple Electric Supply truck while operating it safely and within compliance of all Temple Electric rules, applicable laws, and state and federal regulations. Driver destinations include customers, vendors, and other company locations.
  • Perform a truck pre-check inspection prior to any route deliveries. This should be done multiple times per day depending on how many routes are scheduled.
  • Pull products from the warehouse to fulfill orders.
  • Safely package and bundle loads for transport. Secure the loads to prevent shifting, damage, or falling of any product.  Use proper tie down procedures to prevent movement of packages during the delivery process.  Safely unload product at destinations.

Job Summary

Warehouse Associate personnel are responsible for putting away material, pulling material for orders, unloading material off vendor trucks, packing material in boxes and on pallets, loading trucks, and assisting customers.  They always work safely and are friendly to all internal and external customers.  Focus is on efficient and safe operations, while cultivating customer relationships and exceeding customer expectations of prompt service.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Unload vendor shipments using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment. Operating safely and within compliance of all NWS rules, applicable laws, and state and federal regulations.
  • Checking-in material from vendors quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Verifying counts are correct and placing items in proper bin locations within our warehouses.
  • Utilizing pick tickets to pull customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Making sure counts are correct and material is suitable for shipment to customer.
  • Safely package and bundle loads for transport. Packages and items may be loaded into boxes, onto pallets, or other material handling and storing devices.  Use care when loading products to make sure boxes are labeled properly and items are in the correct boxes.
  • Work with internal and external customers to quickly resolve any customer service issues including quantity or item discrepancies.
  • Provide and maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, material locations, and safety standards. Remove empty cartons, broken pallets, wood and metal pieces, and any other debris that does not belong in the warehouse or on the property.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties and tasks as required by Management.

Work Environment

  • This role requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment which may be heavy (50+ pounds).
  • Typically, in a comfortable environment, but with regular exposure to a warehouse environment with factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes. Often exposure to outdoor weather and with no climate control within the warehouse.  The company may stock and sell hazardous materials such as pvc cement, chemicals, torch gas, solvents, propane gas, etc.  You may be required to handle these materials as part of the role.

Job Summary

Outside Sales Reps develop new customer accounts and work with existing customers to increase sales.  Focus on profitably growing sales to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.  Responsible for prospecting for new accounts while retaining existing accounts and increasing opportunities.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Perform on-site customer visits with new and existing customers.
  • Manage sales volume with existing group of customers and prospects to successfully expand customer base.
  • Maintain existing and build new customer partnerships. Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers in all levels of an organization.
  • Work with customers, vendors, Credit, and A/R to quickly resolve customer service issues.
  • Able to Identify customer product needs and coordinate quotation and delivery.
  • Return missed calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely fashion.
  • Provide and maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assist customer at the Sales and Will-Call counters.
  • Create sales orders and bids for new business.
  • Address pricing issues and material returns in a timely manner.
  • Work with customers to quickly resolve any customer service issues.
  • Identify customer product needs and coordinate quotation and delivery.
  • Build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties and tasks as required by Management.
